Phillip Wayne Goff

Garner- Phillip “Phil” Wayne Goff, 54, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Eureka Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Goff was born in Wayne County on May 12, 1962 to the late Wayne McCoy and Hilda Newcomb Goff.  He attended New Hope Church in Garner.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Joseph Goff of Goldsboro; one daughter, Anastasia Destiny Goff of Clayton; three sisters, Brenda Tanner of Garner, Pamela Singletary and husband, Ronald Eugene Jr. of Clayton and Wendy Sasser and husband, Kevin of Goldsboro; one grandchild, Piper Elizabeth Goff; three nephews, Chris, Jason and Brandon Singletary; one niece, Lindsey Sanderford and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday evening, March 23, 2017 at 7 p.m. at New Hope Church of Christ, 2967 Benson Road in Garner.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
