Rachel (Goff) Brann

Fremont- Rachel Goff Brann, 77, N. Pine Street in Fremont went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 5, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont with visitation to follow.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Farmville.

Mrs. Brann was born in Greene County on October 10, 1939 to the late Paul and Eva Beamon Goff.  She was a member of Stantonsburg Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Brann and wife, Elizabeth of Greenville;  and one daughter, Tammy Duvall and husband, Mike of Fremont; one brother, Rev. Wayne Goff; three sisters, Pearl Smith and husband, Robert of Fremont, Frances Ferrell of Fremont and Faye Sauls and husband, Wayne of Fremont; sister-in-law, Shirley Goff of Stantonsburg; and four grandchildren, Cameron and Makayla Evans and Thomas and Ava Brann.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Thomas Brann; son, Thomas Ray Brann; brother, Howard Goff and brother-in-law, Shorty Ferrell.

The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine Street in Fremont.
