Pattie Mae (Chase) Edmundson

Pattie Mae Chase Edmundson, 85, of Pikeville passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will follow at Eureka Cemetery.   The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 until 2:45 p.m.

Mrs. Edmundson was born in Greene County on October 7, 1933 to the late Linzy and Lula Evans Chase.

She is survived by her two sons, Gary Edmundson and Donald Edmundson and wife, Lisa of Fremont; three daughters, Diane Bass and her husband, Ricky of Eureka, Faye Pridgen and her husband, Maurice of Pikeville and Marilyn Kinney and her husband, Steve of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren;  eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way and brothers-in-law, Kenneth Edmundson and Earl Mumford and sisters-in-law, Doris Gurganus and Jenell Edmundson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edmundson was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Edmundson Jr; three sisters, Lillie Jones Wilson, Irene Whitley Wilson and Alene Barber; one brother, Robert “Buddy” Chase; daughter-in-law, Darlene Edmundson; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Baker, Marie Mumford, Dollie Edmundson, Diane Byrum and Kathy Edmundson and brothers-in-law, Edward Lee Edmundson, Gene Edmundson, Oscar Edmundson and Thomas Baker.
