Ruth Best Pearce

Ruth Best Pearce, 92, of the Patetown Community passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Best was born in Wayne County on August 2, 1925 to the late John and Rachel Sasser Best.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Pearce.

She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family is in the care of  Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
