Anne (Yelverton) Bryant

Anne Yelverton Bryant, 74, of Fremont went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. 

Mrs. Bryant was born in Wayne County on June 11, 1947 to the late William Norman and Doris Annette Benton Yelverton.  She was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Bryant; two sons, Ward Bryant of Pikeville and fiancée, Amber and Allen Peoples of Fremont; one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Insley and husband, Edward of Dudley; one brother, William Norman Yelverton Jr., and wife, Bess of South Carolina; one granddaughter, Kendall Insley and her special beloved dog, Angel.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
