Doris Edmundson Littleton

Doris Edmundson Littleton, 80, passed away Monday, May 07, 2018 at her home in Fremont.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Mrs. Littleton was born in Greene County, NC on March 08, 1938 to the late H.B. and Lanie Edmundson.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Goldsboro since 1992 and was a lifetime resident of Fremont, NC.

She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Jo Littleton Hobbs of Pikeville; two sons, Gary H. Littleton (Dana) of Elizabeth City, NC and Dannie Dale Littleton (JoAnne) of Goldsboro; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Bates, Jessica Hobbs, Jamie Hobbs, Anthony Morton, Patrick Morton, Marcus Littleton, Dana Littleton, Steven Littleton, Stormy Fiscel and Matthew Shoemaker and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Littleton was preceded in death by two brothers, J.P. Edmundson and Lendy Edmundson; two sisters, Dollie Mae Edmundson Johnson and Trudie Beasley Stalnaker; one son, Steve Quinn Littleton and a great-granddaughter, Haley Nicole McGee.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, May 09, 2018 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
