Isabel (Jones) Proctor

Isabel “Belle” Jones Proctor, age 92, of Fremont went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, May 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 6, 1928 to the late Charlie and Bessie Jones, she was the cherished wife of the late Leland “B.K.” Proctor. 

She is survived by her children, Margie Toler, Shirley Winders (Ricky), Larry Proctor (Brenda), Connie Kidd (Richard) and Mike Proctor and daughter-in-law, Sue Proctor.  She is also survived by numerous grandchildren (3 on the way) and several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Brenda Jackson.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Richard; son-in-law, Billy Toler;  sisters, Edna, Ethel Mae, Josie, Geraldine, Irene, Juanita and brothers, Alton and Charles Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday,  May 25, 2021 from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at Fremont Free Will Baptist Church.  The service will follow in the sanctuary at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine Street in Fremont.
