James Porter Fahling Jr., 83, of Lucama passed away Monday, September 4, 2023.
At his request, no formal service will be held.
He is survived by four daughters, Lori Barnes (Timothy) of Georgia, Patricia Owens (Luky) of Elm City, Kelly Seyler of Jacksonville, NC and Julie Overman (Bobby) of Wilson; nine grandchildren; eighteenth great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Porter Fahling Sr. and Irene Cunningham; his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Fahling and his son, James Porter Fahling III.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home 102 N. Pine Street in Fremont.
