Joyce Ann (Bunn) Radford

Joyce Ann Radford, 66, of Fremont departed this earthly life Monday, July 22, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Radford was born in Wilson County on September 15, 1957. She attended Crosspointe Baptist Church in Fremont and retired from Nahunta Pork Center.

She is survived by her son, James Dustin Radford and fiancée, Katie of Princeton; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Lynn Radford, Makena Radford and Kollin Radford and her beloved pet, Khloe.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Dudley Bunn Jr. and her husband, Chief James “Monk” Radford.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Anderson-Radford Cemetery, 1702 Davis Mill Road in Fremont.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wayne County Animal Shelter.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
