Letha Louise (Parrish) Davis

Letha Louise Parrish Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, August 7, 2016 at WilMed Nursing Care Center.

A service to celebrate her life of 93 years will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m.

Mrs. Davis was born in Wilson County, NC on October 31, 1922.  She was the oldest living member of Daniels Chapel FWB Church. 

She is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie Aycock and husband, Julian of Fremont; grandchildren, Rhia Aycock Nakamura and husband, J.P. of Richlands and Rhett Aycock and wife, Sarah of Garner; brother-in-law, Reuben Davis of Kinston; host of nieces and nephews and a beloved pet, Roxie.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan Barnes Davis; mother, Mary Parrish Lamm and grandmother, Nettie Holland.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
