Linda (Boswell) Weeks

Linda Boswell Weeks, 86, of Pikeville went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

The family will receive friends Friday morning, October 6, 2023 from 10 until 11 a.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Mrs. Weeks was born in Wayne County on August 7, 1937 to the late Woodrow and Winnie Coley Boswell. She attended Mt. Carmel Church in Pikeville and was retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital. After her retirement from Wayne Memorial Hospital, she later volunteered at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

She is survived by two sons, Danny Ray Edmundson of Pikeville and Samuel James Weeks and wife, Christie of Wilson; two daughters, Linda Bunn and husband, Ronnie of Goldsboro and Jo Ann Crawford of Goldsboro; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Weeks and two grandchildren.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine Street in Fremont.
