Mildred "Bill" Florene Grant, 93, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Countryside Village in Pikeville.

Mrs. Grant was born in Wilson County on July 02, 1925 to the late Charlie and Mary Barnes.

She is survived by one son, Roger Grant and wife, Trudy of Kenly; four grandchildren, Lisa Carter and husband, Burl, Lynn Watson and husband, Horace "Hodie", Tanya Byrd and husband, Tim and Chris Crowly and wife, Cindy; eleven great-grandchildren, Zachery, Austin, Carlie, Logan, Chloe, Jonathan, Ashley, Kristin, Christopher, Ava and Liam.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Alton Grant Sr.; son, Jesse Grant Jr; all her brothers and sisters and two grandchildren, Tabitha Grant and Billy Steen.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro.
