Peggy Ann (Proctor) Rodgers

Peggy Ann Proctor Rodgers, 87, of Fremont went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 22, 2019.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.  The family will receive friends following the graveside service.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Wilson County on August 22, 1931 to the late Luther Preston Proctor and Clyde Varnell Proctor.  She was a lifelong member of Fremont FWB Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rodgers Lieder of Fremont; three grandchildren, T.J. Lieder, Charles Beckerman (Naomi) and Virginia Beckerman and husband; four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Joshua (Veronica), Mayra and Christian and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Woodrow Rodgers; daughter, Jeannie Rodgers Beckerman and her siblings.

Services entrusted to the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
