Ronald "Ron" also known as "Tombstone" Gray Rosser Jr., 60, of Dudley passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022 at his home.
A celebration of his life will be held January 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stantonsburg Community Building, 103 Moyton Avenue, Stantonsburg, NC. 27883.
Ron was born in Virginia on July 26, 1962 to the late Ronald Gray Rosser and Jean Elizabeth Smith Rosser.
Tombstone was a respected lifetime member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club. He began his membership in the Wayne county chapter and in 1998, he helped charter the Wilson County Chapter where he remained a loyal member. Over the years he held several chapter positions, including President and Vice President. He dedicated his time to helping others that had fallen on hard times. He could be found participating in many toy runs and other fundraisers throughout the year. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by one sister, Deborah Grimes and husband, Kenneth Douglas of Wilson; his niece, Megan Lynn Grimes of Wilson and his aunt, Dolly Lynn Smith of Wilson and his cousin, Amy Smith Oliver of Sims.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his uncle, Clarence Golden (Butch) Smith, Jr. and Clarence Golden (CG) Smith, III.
The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 North Pine Street in Fremont.
