Stan West

Stan West, 62, of Fremont departed this walk of life suddenly, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.  He was reunited with his loving and devoted wife, Debra Pollock West who went home to be with her Lord and Savior, August 18, 2016.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine Street in Fremont.   A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.

Stan was born March 14, 1956 to the late Preston and Rosa Carter West.  He was a member of Fremont Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by a host of close friends and extended family.  He was a true friend and will be missed by all.
