Susie Pipkin

Susie Pipkin, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, April 01, 2019 at Somerset Court of Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Susie was born in Wayne County on April 24, 1955 to the late Faison and Sarah Wheeler Williams.  She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Jerry Williams and wife, Brenda of Pikeville and Larry Williams of Fremont; three sisters, Debbie Denton and husband, Mike of Kenly, Blanche Hannah and husband, Linwood of Pikeville and Ann Mooring of Pikeville; a special friend, Clare Strickland and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Pipkin; her sister, Betty Jean “BJ” Williams and a special friend, Dennis Lee.

The family is in the care of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
